A friend of mine told me to listen to this man, I have been watching old videos of him in the 60' and 70's. He is a true Liberal, and totally different than todays Liberals. I have to go see what books he has maybe written.

He has me re-thinking my conservative views.

I don't know a thing about Milton Friedman, but the Dems from back then no longer exist. Everything is about the Progressives now.

The whole political process has become a joke. Not a bit of integrity anywhere. It is always the Republicans fault, the Dems fault or Bush's fault.

There is no concern for what we the people want. It's just the daily BS from both sides. They are beyond self absorbed.

Some days I think I should be an Independent.

The Republicans are not the same as when I was a Republican. The party was truly fiscally conservative and socially responsible. There was none of the wingnut stuff you hear now. They have gotten so far to the right, that what used to be considered "fringe" is now the norm.

Absolutely! Neither party stands for anything anymore. They are all about power and greed. They would not know truth if it slapped them in the face. I'm not sure I know what the truth is anymore.

I'm a big fan of Friedman, as most libertarians are. He was definitely a proponent of limited government, which is now sidelined as the "Ron Paul lunatic fringe" in the Republican Party.

Many people want the government to protect the consumer. A much more urgent problem is to protect the consumer from the government.

We have a system that increasingly taxes work and subsidizes nonwork.
