Did anyone else see on the tv in the last week or two this lady in the Woodlands showing off her 3000 sq ft closet? She was on several shows showing all her expensive and numerous handbags, jewelry, etc. Well her closet was robbed last night and she's guessing they stole $800,000 to $1,000,000 worth of her stuff. I think she said they stole all 10 Rolex watches.

I saw that and thought it as a huge extravagance. She put it out there for everyone to see. I really don't feel sorry for her.

And you always activate your alarm. Geez you pay for that service, I don't care how long or how far you go. And gated communities give a false sense of security.

I can't believe she started crying on camera. Get a grip lady! It's just STUFF. I'm not a very materialistic person, I don't keep watches or anything like that.

Actually, the closet was being used as a venue charity for fund raisers. They were auctioning those purses.. I guess she could have kept them in a more secure place instead of her house.

Probably would have been secure if they had turned on the alarm system that they pay to have monitored.

I feel bad for anyone, no matter what socio economic group they are in....it is still a horrible violation to have someone creeping around your home and taking things that mean something to you. I don't care what she used the stuff for, it was hers. I have had things taken from me and it is outrageous that anyone would feel entitled to it. I knew someone who stole from people's garages who told me that "they have lots of money, they won't miss it" Stealing is stealing.

However, I wish people thought as strongly about the banks stealing or contractors or scam artists.
