Ladies, Bobbi Brown or other makeup ?

What is your preferred makeup ? I am playing around with different ones, and I like certain ones for base,( foundation or primer) and different brands for lips, eyes, etc. I can't get a consistent result out of any one brand. Has anyone tried Bobbi Brown. I am considering getting a few items and trying it out. Any other ideas ? I happen to have dry to normal skin, and I am over 40.

Does Bobby Brown makeup beat you up if you wear it wrong? Sorry... I couldn't help it!

I use merle norman for base, Loreal for eyes and lipstick. I've used Merle Norman for 50 years. I've started my granddaughter on it now.

Youjust need to find a make up that works for you. Doesn't really matter the brand, just that it works well for your skin, skin color, etc.

Sephora is a great place to go and play with lots of different brands to find what works best for you. They recently renovated the Sephora at the Woodlands Mall and add Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Dior. They also have Clinique, Nars and Laura Mercier and a bunch of other lines. They let you shop and try one without pressure and can give you samples.

yes, I spend lots of time at Sephora. Some of the salespeople are young and don't understand older skin. But there are A few who are in my age range and give great suggestions.

I use Christian Dior Nude makeup and it is the best makeup, very hydrating. I think you will be very pleased with it. The powder is 60% water,so when you apply it to your face it is very cool feeling. I am currently using Capture Totale by Christian Dior and it has the serum in it which is very good for your skin.

I shop Ulta- I love Smashbox, Tarte, Urban Decay and Stila. If you go in to the store you can get a free consultation and try whatever you want!

I have been wearing MAC cosmetics since the company started more than twenty years ago. I may sometimes use another product here and there but I always go back to MAC.
