I think they should allow it to stand.

Illegals cost the US a fortune.

We have to do somethng, but, I don't think stopping Hispanics randomly is right. It is so easy to go to a construction site and see how many employers are hiring people who speak NO English. Employers are the place to begin. Check their records and proof they are documented workers. There are too many Mexican people who live here legally that would be harrassed. We don't need another minority stopped for no reason.

We have to do something so do you have any suggestions? I sure as hell would not want to live near the border and feel sorry for the people in Arizona.

Don't hire people with out papers. Routine audits of employers and their employee list. Criminal charges for non-compliant employers.

I heard that already there is a downturn in illegal entries to the US because of the economy, so, it would make sense that if the jobs were not there, the people would not come unless it is legally. I feel it is a lot our own fault for not enforcing the laws that are already on the books. We still are not doing it. It is against the law for employers to hire them, yet, we don't even check them.

Luckily our economy is in the trash so illegals aren't coming here like they used to.

I hardly think our economy is in the trash, but, there has been a downturn in new construction and a lot of road work is stopped because of cuts in budgets. We are not experiencing much of this in Texas, but, other states are hit hard.
