I'm sorry but I thought there was some restriction about large inflatable decorations, like Santas. There is one at Indigo Sky and Rush Haven that is well...

Some of my neighbors have inflatable displays of Christmas characters that are deflated during the daytime. They look like, "Crime Scene Santa."

I never heard anything about them not being allowed. I have Snoopy and Woodstock but their not big. I have seen them around for several Christmases.

I like inflatables, as long as they are up when they need to be up and put back in the garage when done!

My kids love the inflatables. We got a new penguin and reindeer this year.

I would think it depends on the size of the property as to how it looks. A very small front yard with 3 or 4 inflatables looks silly, imho.

SCROOGE.........This is only once a year. First people complain about not putting Christ in Christmas, then, the lights being up too soon, and Christmas Carols being sung too soon, and, now, the inflatable ornaments on their own property is a no no. I think we need a dose of non-judgement here. Personally, I like any and all decorations. I would not use the inflatables, myself, but, they are festive. A lot of homes have nothing in the way of decorations. Let's let those who are enjoying it do just that.

Since I don't climb on the roof for decorations I have all yard decorations. I only have one small inflatable but its cute. My front yard is not big and with the landscaping I can't put a big one in. Maybe another small one on the other side of the yard.

Are you saying you support the celebration of the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ? That doesn't make you a hypocrite at all...

Or perhaps she celebrates the pagan holiday that predates the Christian celebration?

Ok, so she is enjoying looking at the soltice lights? I can't tell you how many of my neighbors whip out the winter soltice lights and put them on their winter soltice tree.

I don't consider myself Christian but I enjoy the holidays for what they mean to me - a celebration of family and friends and the chance to recognize how lucky we are and help others out.

I am jealous of you. It is so simple to not believe in your creator. That means no accountability. You can do whatever you want without the fear of consequences. It takes courage to believe that you will be held accountable for your actions.
