Someone who posts inflamatory remarks about others, which was just about all his/her posts were.
That's what I originally thought. However, it now is applied to anyone who often makes another correspondent uncomfortable or unhappy.
I think that the banning in this case was overkill but then I don't think that anyone should ever be banned unless it seems likely that his continued presence will destroy the forum.
Otherwise, I take the libertarian view that adults are capable of managing their own affairs without the intervention of a superior authority.

Guess you didn't see all of her posts, they were made to provoke others and not about the issues at hand.

Some forums operate that way, but I don't run mine that way. I want the atmosphere here to be a little more tame and friendly, than the typically forum that operates under the rules you suggest.
The threat of being banned provides an incentive to behave that otherwise doesn't exist in an anonymous chat forum.

I'm usually one for taking the libertarian view as well. However, this is a a private website. This website can ban people just like I have a right to remove unruly guests from my house.

I'm not finding fault with the administrator. I understand what he is trying to do. However, since my main interest is dialectic (Surprise!), I prefer a completely uncensored forum. Vituperative comments by an opponent often go far towards victory in a debate by undermining his credibility.

What you are not seeing is that the person in question was not debating, just provoking, there is a huge difference in an intelligent debate and just making statements to provoke others or to demean others.
I wish admin would patrol the classifieds like they do the forum. There are some car adds that are scams. I have personally been involved in one where someone tried to get me to send a western union payment to them. Also there are people posing we buy cars, and material that isn't even a part of the filter. Please clean it up.
