Now that they have announced the Exxon move, they are talking about how the opening of the campus will conincide with the opening of segments of the Grand Parkway. Have they even started working on any of the segments of the GP up here?

Nope - looks like they're hoping to start sometime this year, with a target end date in 2014 (which would coincide with the Exxon property completion), however the document that says that is from 2008, so who knows.

I haven't been up that way in a long time, but I had to pick up my daughter from Willis on Sat morning after work and I couldn't believe all the construction. It was awful.

It's been a long time since construction has effected my commute. I'm not looking for it either!

That sign has been there over a year. I wonder when they will start developing.

I would like to see the Woodlands Parkway opened up to 249. I may be in a nursing home when that happens.

It's amazing how long it takes them to finish construction projects here. In Minnesota we always said there were two seasons...Winter & Road Construction. They start their projects in May and they have to be done by September. They seem to acomplish a lot in those few months though.

Driving on 105 from Plantersville to Navasota there is a sign for a "proposed 249 extension" up to 105. I bet that'll be a long way off, too.
