We are doing Take Shape For Life. Basically it is Medifast meals with free health coaching services and a more outlined way to keep the weight off once you meet your goal. John has been on it 2 1/2 weeks and he has lost 25 lbs. I have been on it 3 1/2 weeks and I have lost 18 lbs.
Johns stepmom did the program 4 years ago and lost 85 lbs. She is now 55 years old without any medication. She was on 6 tablets of Metformin when she started 4 years ago with blood sugars in the 300's. It is low sodium so great for people with high blood pressure too.
Just wanted to share our progress! John has lost 33 lbs in 4 weeks and I have lost 22 lbs in 5 weeks! We didn't realize the huge difference until we put our before/after pictures next to eachother!
This has honestly been one of the easiest diets I have done. Also, the quick weight loss has made it more rewarding and we want to continue to get to our goal of losing 100 to 125 lbs each!
