and I thought having a sitting president calling Romney a bullshi**er was bad enough. He has reached a new low.

ukmatt, I know that video is aimed at college kids. I have two granddaughters in college and that video is disgusting.

edited to add: it is only me that found it disgusting. No one else has posted about it on this thread.

I'm sorry but this is not the kind of garbage you aim at my college age granddaughters. They are not sluts!

First of all I was referring to your comment regarding the B***S****** comment (the one I quoted).

Secondly, I think you're suffering from a severe sense of humor failure. I am not quite sure what you think the video is trying to tell your granddaughters but *hint* it's nothing to do with them being sluts.

Life would be a lot more enjoyable for you folks if you turned down the outrage-o-meter down from 11 for a while.

The right wing news sources have you trained like Pavlovs dogs - "Here, be outraged about this. This is why you should be outraged. Don't think for yourselves - trust us - you need to be outraged". Ding ding ding - time to be outraged again.

I am quite capable of thinking for myself, thank you.

I know what the video is about and I know what is implied at the beginning. It is in very poor taste to say the least.

There is not a thing lacking with my sense of humor and I can find humor in most things, but this is not one of them.

The bullshi**er comment was tasteless, too.

What do you think is implied at the beginning?

Yes - awful - I'll never be able to forget about it - I'm scarred for life

No one will be scarred for life, ukmatt! lol! Do you really think it should come out of the mouth of a sitting president?

I am quite sure you are smart enough to recognize the implication at the beginning of the video without any help from me.

I am outraged this morning and probably lacking in humor. I am outraged at cancer and what it does to people. I am sickened that so many families have to say goodbye too soon to loved ones. I am outraged that people attempt suicide and would consider leaving children behind because they cannot cope with life.

I am outraged that so many children have been murdered lately.

I am outraged about a lot of things this morning and I am not in a very good mood, but politics won't cause me to be outraged.

I'm off the subject matter, I apologize. Just trying to explain my lack of patience this morning.

He's an adult, it didn't bother me that much. It's probably not very presidential I will admit.

Honestly I don't see any implication - I see an ad about people making the right choices when it comes to voting. Choices that impact them the most (and thankfully we all have the luxury of making our own choices!)

No need to apologize. All those things are causes for outrage, concern and so on. I still feel there is a disproportionately 'outraged' tone to anything the Right disagrees with about what Obama does. But then having lived in California during the Bush years I saw the same thing on the other side too.

That woman is so ugly, you have to tie a pork chop around her neck just to get the dogs to play with her. I can see why Obama was her first.

She's so ugly, sleep has to sneak up on her.
