Hi All, I'm new here, but you'll probably see me around quite a bit as I'm always looking for the inside scoop on our community. I like right outside of The Woodlands (Saddlebrook Village) and work off of Research Forest.
Anyhow... I'm sure some of you have noticed the construction on Kuykendahl. The road is being expanded to four lanes, and the Tomball ISD location just north of Augusta Pines has been cleared and is having sewer lines installed. It looks like the Village Center for Creekside Park is about to break ground.
Does anyone know if The Woodlands has had a grocery store sign on to chair the Village Center? If so, who is it? Also, does anyone have any information on other retailers that may be moving to the Creekside Park area? Thanks!
No new info here. Once they start building the foundations, it will go up pretty quick now. They do have an anchor grocery store in the plans, but not sure which one.
I wish businesses would put up signs when they break ground....they used to but lately it takes until almost the building is built and you have pretty much figured it out by the shape of the building what it is going to be before a sign appear and usually it says "Now Hiring"!
In most areas of TW, the convenants restrict signage. Just check out all of the property for sale. Most all of the property has the green signs with the band across the top. There are restrictions about banners also.
Hi everyone. The school is almost finished and it looks like they've cleared the ground for the village center. A couple of months ago there was a PDF on The Woodlands Commercial website that included a drawing of what it's supposed to look like. Basically, it was a scaled down version of Market Street.
Does anyone have any other info on the Creekside Village Center?

The PDF plans look pretty nice. I wonder how big it will turn out to be. From the plans, it looks larger than some of the other village centers. Can't wait to here more about new things coming in.
New places to shop closer to home are always good. It would be nice if something a little different came in, like maybe an actual Central Market. I am still stoked for Trader Joe's coming to my area. Drove past the other day and they seem pretty far on the structure. I haven't heard what else is coming in there with it?? The Petco (or is it Petsmart) just opened next door.
I cannot tell where exactly that shopping center is located. I drove down Kuykendahl, yesterday, and the road is nearly finished that goes past the school. That is Creekside Green. It will be wonderful to have that go straight through as we live right off Creekside Green.
I'm waiting on pins and needles to find out what grocery chain will go in. I hope its something unique like Whole Foods. We already have Randalls, Kroger, and HEB within a 5 minutes drive. The neighborhood watch lady said the town has narrowed down their negotiations to two chains.
I also hope there are cafes and shops with outdoor dining like the pdf shows. I don't want another "strip mall" village center like all the others.
