Yes, it would be nice to have another "shop & dine" destination close by. It would be nice if they are planning something more than just a HEB, a pizza place, a Chinese place, a bank (or two or three), etc.

I hope they get some good chain restaurants, however, the parking is usually limited in these shopping centers for them. I would love to see something of the caliber of Papadeaux's. Usually, they have some small not so good Chinese and a so so Mexican place. We shall see.

A neighbor heard a rumor that the grocery store will be either a Randalls or an HEB. I hope someone gave her the wrong info Emoticon

HEB is a helluva lot better than Randalls, they have the highest prices in the state!

I don't mind HEB... but there is one right up the street in the Indian Springs Village.

I agree that Randall's is too high-priced, but they do have some nice higher end items. I don't really like the Randall's in Panther Creek though b/c they never have enough people working the registers and there is no self-checkout, so it is difficult to just run in quickly.

BTW, has anyone noticed that the quality and selection has gotten a little worse at the Indian Springs HEB since they opened the new one. The new one on 1488 seems to have more fresh things, but it is further away for me.

There is a big difference in produce and fish variety in HEB @MarketStreet than the other HEBs around.

Is a portion of Creekside in Harris County or all of it?

I never go to the Market Street one. I need to check it out.

The Market Street HEB is nice, but it is a HUGE pain in the butt to find parking when the weather is nice or if there is anything else going on in the area. We used to shop there weekly, but have switched over to the HEB on 1488 unless we have some other reason to be in Town Center already.

I usually skip it b/c of parking too. The 1488 one is nice. I just get too lazy to drive over there.

I don't like the fact that HEB is taking out all the name brands and replacing them with HEB brand. In most cases, the quality is not as good as the brands I am used to. They cannot be beat for fresh fish and fresh produce, however. I love the Town Square one as it offers a lot more than the others.

I moved to Creekside from Illinois in June. I like The Woodlands so far but I'm not crazy about the traffic up near Market Street and The Woodlands Mall. It can get pretty crazy there at times. So many crazy drivers! Anyway, I'm excited about the new shopping center being so close. I can't wait! : )

Has anyone heard anything new about the creekside village center? Someone told me a fireman said that an HEB was going in. If so, I hope it's a central market... since HEB is right up the street.
