I hope it's an HEB, I do most of my shopping there, there produce and meat beats Krogers Sterling Ridge or Cochrans Crossing Krogers any day. Way back when the Randalls family still owned Randalls it was very nice and competitively priced.

I moved from PC to Timarron-Creekside and the Creekside Village Center is within walking distance and I noticed that they finished the walk/bike path. As far as I have been able to find out they haven't yet slated for building. It looks like they are clearing a big spot near the bridge on Kykendall but somewhere I remember reading that was going to be apartments there.

It would nice if it were something a little different. If it is an HEB, it would great if it was unique from the other two or three in the area.

A Randall's would be nice. I like some of the stuff they carry there and think Randall's has a good bakery, but I dislike the one in Panther Creek b/c the service is always so slow--there is always only one or two SLOW lines and no self-checkout. There used to be a really nice Randall's when I lived in the Memorial area.

I don't shop at Randall's often, but I'm always shocked by how few people there are in the lot at the 242/1488 Randalls, while the HEB on 1488 is almost always packed.

Yeah, it seems like Randall's is always empty. HEB (both the Indian Springs and the new one on 1488) are always jammed. I always assume that with all the shoppers HEB has a high turnover and fresh products.

Looks like another example of no parking! They expect everyone to park in those two parking areas?? That is the whole reason I steer clear of Market Street.

No parking in Creekside Park Village Center or Market Street?
There is a parking garage in the Market St. area.

If you get a Randalls in Creekside Village I guarantee that most of you will be driving to the nearest HEB or Kroger. Randalls was bought out by Safeway and they've gone down hill ever since the acquisition.

Exactly, Randalls was wonderful when the Randalls family actually owned and ran it. the one in Panther Creek actually had a Randalls family member as a manager before Safeway bought them out and raised prices.

I typically park in the parking garage at Market street and don't usually have a problem. Christmas time all together in that area is a different story.

I am close enough to walk or ride my bike to the new village center whenever it is built, but it would be hard to get all my groceries in my little bike basket!!! Watching the progress over the last year since we moved out here, I bet it's a few years down the road before they built the center.

wow your missing a great opportunity here in creekside park!
you should hope for less parking and more "complete streets"!
we should be demanding them for this location!

I was at a meeting with the developer last week and they told me they had inked a deal with a Food Store, but could not reveal who it was until Dec / January.

I don't think it was Randall's.
