I have been told that Costco is in negotiations to build a store here in The Woodlands. I hope they get it done as I love Costco and going to Willowbrook Mall is quite a long ride.
I'm about ready to give up my Sam's card, most of the stuff I buy, which hasn't been much lately, I can get a Walmart for the Sam price. Sam's used to be great and saved money. Maybe it's because my kids aren't little anymore and I only have one left at home!
I'll believe it when I see it, for at least 5 years that's been the rumor. Just like the rumors that Disney was going to build a park out here, that never happened.
Sigh, I am not discussing this further. No matter what I say about this, you who have posted will find fault with the answer. We will just wait and see.

You know it's all right for you to as for facts etc on other sites but when the tables are turned you don't like it.
I just asked your source, that usually tells whether a rumor is true or not.

Well, my search engine doesn't bring up anything recent about a Costco in the Woodlands. 2009 is the last rumor post I find on the net. Ultimate Woodlands is 2008. Nothing in 2012 saying there will be a Costco here.
sstonetx, that would be great! I am tired driving to willowbrook mall as well.. I hope it will be moving forward whatever the deal is .. The Woodlands rock!

I would think Costco could buy some of the old Landshark Chevy dealership land for cheap. They'd go head on with Mas Club, which is still in the testing phase.
