Mei Wei is the one you are thinking of, I think. We used to order from them about 2 or 3 years ago--it was good at first, but then not so much. We usually order from China Spring for proximity.
Yeah, they can disappoint sometimes. Sometimes it can be the dish I order. It can be okay if I stick to my 2 or 3 regulars, but sometimes it can be a miss if I try something else. Seems to be the rule for Chinese restaurants in TW.
China Springs has been inedible the last couple of times I ordered food there.
Has anyone ever been to Jade Palace in downtown Humble? It's one of those places that hasn't been remodeled since the 70s. If you want good and greasy Chinese, this is the place, and the eggrolls are huge.
Since someone listed a Japanese Hibachi as their favorite, I must add that between Kobe, Shogun, Benihana, and Wild Ginger, I think that Wild Ginger is the best!
For those that live in the back of TW, I heard (unsubstantiated at this point)that they are putting a Pei Wei in the shopping center where Trader Joe's is. It is supposed to be going on the end of that building I also heard that a New Balance store is going in one of the smaller middle spots. Didn't hear anything about time frame yet.

That would be wonderful, the Chili's leaves a lot to be desired and sometimes we want to go out but don't want to go all the way to the mall area.
Yeah same here. We take out from Chilis b/c it is in the neighborhood, but we are really hurting for more options back here. Hopefully, Trader Joe's is making some larger restaurant and chains see the potential back here. (Now I just need a Dunkin Donuts close by)
