Just recieved an auto call regarding numerous break ins/attempted break ins today along the 242 corridor in Alden Bridge....suspects driving an older Buick Park Avenue, but no description of the suspects. (though a Buick Park Ave gives me an indiciation....)
Got a Woodlands Alert, said there had been numerous burglaries or attempted burglaries throughout the Woodlands but in particular the 242 corridor Alden Bridge.

Up north, older Buicks are favorited by retirees at municpal golf courses. In Houston however, I've found them to be favorited by inner city urban youth, usually outfitted with large, aftermarket chrome wheels and faux Roadmaster portholes affixed to the front fenders. Just an observation.

Hmmm. To me, a Buick gives me an indication of an older person. Maybe a senior citizen ? Those sneaky seniors are always on the prowl.
Those era of GM cars are ridiculously easy to steal. Wouldn't be surprised if it was real theives, if they boosted the car for a bunch of heists, then abandoned it when done.

That is what I was thinking. If there are several robberies in the same area, they would be stupid to use their own car with all the surveillance cameras people have.
I don't even open my door if I don't know the person at the door, we have had some strange people come during the day and night.
One night about 9:30 we had someone come to our door, porch lights were out, they wanted to know who put in our pool. Now why would you go to someone's house with the porch lights out at 9:30 pm to ask about their pool?
