In your opinion what is the best park here in The Woodlands?
I'm looking for a park that has a walking trail for my dog(leashed) and I, and has a beautiful water feature, any ideas on that as well?
I went to Northshore today and it was beautiful, I just wish there was more of a pathway along the lake there.
There's a nice trail alongside Lake Paloma in Creekside now and you can easily cross the (quiet) Lake Paloma Trail to get to Tupelo Park which has a nice pavilion, a little waterfall and some facilities.
North Shore is nice. Fun to watch the ducks and sit by the water. May Valley is a nice park. Very and woodsy. There is a nice lake somewhere near the golf course off of Branch Crossing (the north part) and I know there is a nice lake somewhere in Cochran's Crossing or somewhere in the middle of TW.
I was shocked by that interactive map of exactly how many different parks there are around. I know TW had lots of parks, but there are so many that I never knew of--and so many different kinds (fishing parks, trails, lakeside, etc.). We are really lucky to have such a nice environment here.

Just don't let the dogs crap on the playground...my kids play there!!! LOL.
I thought I had answered this but I know the answer is Northshore Park, hands down. You have a toddler playset with sand to play in, and an another playset for the older kids. there is a small climbing wall (very small) for kids next to that playset. There are picnic tables and ducks to feed. If you aren't wanting to do that, you can always go play Volleyball at their court, or head over to the restrooms for a drink for you or your dog. I have seen individuals fishing and kayaking in Lake Woodlands. It is fun to watch everyone while there. It's also fun to watch the concerts they have there everyonce in awhile, or the birthday parties, or the National Night Out with the firetrucks and other member businesses around the community. (Hope I didn't forget anything.)
