Why? Oh why? Why would they rebuild the Garden Ridge into the same exact place and the same exact way??? Why not put some corners into it or something new and fascinating??? Why oh why!!!
They are better than what they used to be. If you had ever been to the one down by the Sams on 45 (not Portafino) on Richey Road (I think that's the exit) it's a flea market now. Well, if you had ever been there you wouldn't complain about Garden Ridge now. So much nicer.
It was very different. The updated Garden Ridge Stores are much better. I'm just happy to have Garden Ridge Back. Michael's was just not my cup of tea.

I don't think I ever went to that one.
It closed down years ago, it was before they built the one up here. I like Garden Ridge for it's silk flowers and holiday decorations. The other one was like walking through a bazaar, it was a building with small alcoves with all the stuff in them, more of a flea market style than a store.
Recently, I had some pictures printed on canvass and framed at Michaels. They do a really good job with framing for a pretty reasonable price. Canvas4life.com is a site that prints canvas photos for a reasonable price and does a great job.
