I just want to say they are very effecient. They can take your money so fast, you won't even know where it went. But they don't get messages to the correct person very fast, so email them. Don't do it from the site, that is under maintenance. If you change your mind and decide not to take their quote be sure you didn't leave your bank info or credit card because if they take your money (really fast too) they take the slow road to China to give it back. I am still waiting. Had the call been returned they may have not taken the money or who knows?? I told the person taking the message that I was going with another company. Maybe that's why they took the money so fast, even though the policy would not have been in effect for two weeks. I am sorry and I hope God will bless them, but to save 800.00 for the same insurance amounts over a six month period, I had to decline their quote. I just wish they would not have taken my 541.00 plus the change so quickly. I just wonder how fast - really, can't they put the money back on my card just as quickly?? Does anyone really know??? I have sent my card an email, seems you need to do everything by mail of some sort to cover yourself. I shall pray for them and for myself for allowing myself to get into this mess in the first place. God Bless!!
A lady rear ended my car Monday. She has Allstate. My dh talked to at least 3 people in the claims office yesterday....all were telling him the policy# was not good and they would need a few days to figure it out. WHAT?????
Well today it is an active policy #. I cannot wait to continue with this claim. I have a feeling it will not be easy.
I am glad the agent I have is wonderful! No matter which company you go with, the agent makes all the difference in the world. I have a guy from State Farm I met in 1985 and he has taken good care of me with houses and cars. And, I have had problems with both that he has not batted an eye with. Other friends, even with State Farm, have had problems getting their claims.
We have USAA as well and absolutely love them. They are always so helpful and and they almost make dealing with insurance a pleasure. We have home and auto with them and have for years.
Yes you are so right, if the agent is good, then you can get things done quickly. Can you imagine, I was told they can take your money quickly from your credit card, but THEY can't give it back, even if it was wrong or a mistake - because "they aren't accounting". LOL What is this world coming too?
Sounds like I need to check out USAA, I have had the same agent for years out of Willis. Its just I had two wrecks last year, one was one vehicle no injuries, was dropped by the company, my agent had me another one in no time and claims was great. The second, an eighteen wheeler hit me and ran 6 miles before caught - no injuries again and the claims were easy, they did not cancel me, but raised my rates so high I just don't see paying them that much money. I shopped around and found several companies one was 800 less for six months for same coverage than Allstate. Who is not my regular agent - but she can't get me a good rate, so I have no choice but to change.
USAA can also be passed down. I have USAA due to my father's military service. My kids can have USAA since I have it. It is not as restrictive as it once was. Years ago one had to be an officer to qualify for USAA.
