We recently moved to The Woodlands and my son is turning 5 in a month. We're trying to plan a bday party for him but I'm kind of stumped on places to check out. We've already attended a few birthdays at Pump It Up and one at The Woodlands Children's Museum. Both were okay but I'd like to see if there's anything else out there. Anyone have any ideas for other places that would be fun for 5 year olds? We can't do it at our house because we have a pool and don't want any mishaps.
We had our daughter's birthday at Boucin' Bears on 2920 last year and it was great even for the adults. It is the best moonwalk place for a party. This year for a little variety we are going to The 7 Acer Woods for her birthday. We looked into the zoo and discussed it with people who have attended parties there and it does not sound worth it.
When I booked the party at 7 acre woods they were very friendly and gave lots of great info on the phone. I would highly recommend them. Ours is Oct 15th!

The zoo lets people on welfare in for free if that gives you an idea of your regular visitors there.

I don't know what your problem is. We are having a discussion about a kids birthday party and you are turing it into a disuccion on social programs. Have you ever contributed to a conversation on this website?

My apologies if you took it that way. The number of children at the zoo climbing on guardrails, running, and screaming in the reptile house while unattended, or worse, while their parents look on and do nothing is at an unacceptable level to me. I feel the zoo encourages this behavior by allowing those on welfare in for free. While you might make a statement to the effect of how do I know who is and isn't on welfare, one can usually tell from the demeanor and appearance of the parents if they are productive members of society or not.
Txmama1000 i had heard about a kids place in panther creek called wonderwild? I believe there is a website, i have seen it. Looks fun but a little pricey at 10 a head.
Or you could shut off the pool area or drain it. We recently had a pirate birthdayhere.i like to go to www.birthdayexpress.com or for local stuff party city. Incredible Pizza in Conroe and Main Event is good too. Have a great party! Happy Birthday 5 yr old!
Js1906 what if you all of a sudden had to live in section 8 housing? When my first husbandpassed and with no income found myself in section 8 housing. BTW you cant tell if a person is productive or not by what they wear, they may be headed to church! I wear slag (tshirt shorts flipflops) all the time. Im very productive.
My Dad.wears tshirts and shirts on the weekends and went to Northside Lexus to buy a car. The salesman asked him what he did for a living because he didn't think he could afford a car. He pays cash for his cars and is an oil company executive.....he left and bought an infinity. He said he would never go back there. You never know about people. It's probably best that you stay secluded in your house with comments like that js.

I doubt your dad has face tattoos and his pants sagging with his underwear exposed. I have no idea how my comment was taken to mean that people who wear a t-shirt on the weekend are on welfare.

It doesn't sound like you live in Section 8 housing anymore. Something must had motivated you to get out of there, what was it?
