Whew...one week left! It feels like this campaign started 2 years ago! It will be nice to not get daily emails from Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio! I don't know how Paul Ryan has time to campaign, he is too busy sending me emails! I am sure the other side is sick of getting emails from Rev Wright, Van Jones, terrorist Bill Ayers The Obama's and Biden!

I didn't sign up for any of the email lists so I haven't received a single campaign message from either side... At this point I'm sick and tired of it all and depressed to think we only have 2 short years before this all starts up again!

Actually the only reason I signed up for the Romney list was I earned Swagbucks for signing up. I do find some (very few)of them interesting, so I haven't canceled it. It did help me get the points I used to get my free PS3 though!

I made a couple of donations to the Romney/Ryan campaign. I get emails from Romney, Ryan, Rubio, the Romney boys and Ann. IOf course, we cannot forget the phone calls.

I will be really happy when the election is over.

I haven't gotten any political e-mails. i also never sign up for things just to get freebies. My personal info is too dear to put out there just for getting something for free. not worth it in my opinion. My sister, on the other hand, signs up for all things labeled "free" or "cheap". her computer has been compromised more times than i care to remember. I guess i am a very private person. I also don't like using the discount cards at stores. Could be that i am paranoid.

It's about time for one of the candidates to make another egregious mistake so that we will have something novel to talk about. The last few weeks everyone has been tilling an already oft-furrowed field.

Like refusing to allow Marines to shoot at terrorists in Libya and watching them die live on a feed from an overhead drone? Then having a C130 fly overhead and when the Marines "paint the target", exposing their position you order the c130 not to fire? Then go to bed, wake up and fly to Vegas for a fundraiser and lying calling it a spontaneous reaction to a video? Imagine the disaster that would be!

Yes, that's the sort of apocryphal, unsubstantiated rubbish that I was referring to - - like the report of a former Mormon that (Bishop) Romney threatened to excommunicate her if she didn't giver her illegitimate child up to the Saints for adoption when he was born.

Is my post not accurate or are you following the Saul Alinsky rules?

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

There is no good choice in this election. There will be no winner....certainly not America.

One wants America to succeed and one is fighting for failure. I call that a good choice.

One says he will work with the other party
One blames the other party.
