Who's been running the country the past month while Obama has been out campaigning? Also, who's been picking up the tab for the secret service and gas for Air Force one?

Me and you buddy. Conspiring against us, and we fund it. On second thought though, it's not us funding it, it's our children and grandchildren. We'll never pay for it in our lifetime.

@texbuck
The same saps that pay for Bush Jr extensive and often wood chopping vacations and campaigns travels. He has the honorable record for the most vacation time of any president. Although presidents are always on to clock with daily briefings.

I have wondered if Trump will keep Air Force 1 when he's president. I wonder if he prefers his 737.

737.

@Makk9 :

It's a 757 - I used to see it a lot in Vegas and LaGuardia on my travels...

It's a pretty jet, and much more efficient than a 747 for executive travel.

It's awful really - a narrow body, ungainly aircraft that causes excessive wake turbulence despite its meager capacity... perhaps more evidence of his poor judgement (maybe he likes the tight confines - makes it easier to grab women by their wherever...).

The 737 and 757 were designed for efficiency. The 747 rules at full gross for profitability still, but I don't see why the president needs such an airplane. My dad worked for Boeing when they launched the 747, and it is dear to my heart, but overkill for transporting the president.

I don't get the idea of wake turbulence. Who cares about wake turb when the president's traveling? It's forbidden for any small aircraft to go anywhere near it!

It's a nice reflection of Trump's persona though... not particularly attractive in itself and damaging to those around it ;-)

@texbuck : The country's probably better off with him doing other stuff - even playing golf. Obama's got to be the worst President ... etc.
