@Makk9 According to the Dallas Morning News editorial is more like this:

"...In Clinton's eight years in the U.S. Senate, she displayed reach and influence in foreign affairs. Though conservatives like to paint her as nakedly partisan, on Capitol Hill she gained respect from Republicans for working across the aisle: Two-thirds of her bills had GOP co-sponsors and included common ground with some of Congress' most conservative lawmakers."

Makk9 as you well should know, this newspaper is no liberal bastion. Hillary is the first Democrat they have endorsed since maybe LBJ?

Is it a pro Hillary endorsement or an anti Trump endorsement. Even though they said a couple of positive things about her, I bet it's more the later.

@CompassionateRebel :

"This newspaper has not recommended a Democrat for the nation's highest office since before World War II — if you're counting, that's more than 75 years and nearly 20 elections." - from the article.

I don't think endorsements are too meaningful in this election, since it's all about antiestablishment. The polls even seem political, in that they don't seem to tell the story, as evidenced by the swings you see poll to poll. Definitely an interesting contest. BLM hates Trump but Quannell X loves him. How does one interpret that?

@Makk9 :

While it is true that Trump has narrowed Clinton's lead in recent polls, the fact is that she is still comfortably ahead in the most reliable ones.

Nate Silver of fivethirtyeight.com has rated the pollsters.* Those that show minimal bias and are rated at A+ have Hillary ahead.

A recent poll by the Washington Post and Survey Monkey highlights Hillary's dominance.**

We need open boarders, let everyone in and let men, women, felons and children vote. We can turn the entire country blue and only have a one party system.

@texbuck
Honesty is essential for a meaningful exchange of ideas. Building up strawmen rather than a cohesive argument is by itself a loser's proposition.

So you seem hell bent on Dallas being a liberal city. Like Detroit? Chicago? New Orleans? What would be the point of taking a perfectly great Texas city, and making it a goal to model it off of these god forsaken places? What is good about that?

@Makk9 You are asking the wrong person. Ask the increasingly diverse people of Dallas who are turning it blue.
