I would like to warn parents that a social host can not be held liable if they serve your child 18 and over ( even though the legal drinking age is 21) and gets intoxicated leaves and either kills himself or kills someone else.
I know you can google quite the opposite and think you know the law.. Since 1993 The Texas Supreme Court has made it clear that unless the Legislature creates a statutory cause of action for social hosts liability,this rule in Texas will remain unchanged...
also Harris county consistently leads the nation in alcohol related fatalities I think the same is true for Montgomery too...
