First thing, it has NOTHING to do with the way parents talk about the President as to why kids act this way.  I can tell you from being in the classroom we have discussions regarding politics you can tell whose parents hated Bush and whose parents hate Obama.  This has NOTHING absolutely nothing to do with these kids behavior, again it goes back to do you make your kids respect you? do they respect others? do they respect themselves?  If the talk like that to a bus monitor you can bet your bottom dollar they talk like that to their teacher and the parents do absolutely nothing about it.

The office of the president should be respected.  If the man does something stupid then how can you respect that man?  Yes, parents will talk about it, we talked about different politicians in our home and our kids NEVER treated a teacher like that, or another child.  In fact, I got a phone call home from a teacher one time that my son stood up against some bullies to help another child.

As far as everything turning it to politics, it's gonna happen right now, it's an election year, and a lot of people are very unhappy with what has happened in the last 3-1/2 years.

I doubt I'm the only exception. Despite the fact that we are on here discussing politics, we don't eat, sleep and breathe politics. It does not role my tv nor my life as it may in yours and caused you to have such a generalization on parents and politics

Then there are the gay activists flipping off Reagan's pic at the White House. One woman said she had someone take a pic of she and her girlfriend making out under his pic.

What kind of ignorance leads to this type behavior? These aren't kids, these are adults.
