Yes, I understood, but, she was your birth mother and that is still a loss. I have a good friend who was raised by wonderful, loving people and found her birth mother. She only saw her once, but, grieved so much when she died. It was probably the not knowing what life would have been like if she had known her longer. It was not about not loving the parents who adopted her. She loved them dearly.
