I love slow cooker recipes, but, I have to be careful as the pot roasts keep getting more and more fatty. I spend a lot of time cutting them apart so the veggies don't get al greasy. I found that Costco has the best meat for a good price. They check their hamburger for ecoli. Their lamb chops are wonderful.

I know!

During grad school in New Orleans, I ran a restaurant and had to learn how to cook. We did not really worry about all of butter, cheese,etc. OMG did we eat! Thank goodness we danced enough to keep the weight off then!

I do my salmon in parchment with spices and sometimes a slice of lemon! Good stuff.
sstonetx if you want some simple and fun recipes, go to my food blog at cabeuserwordpress. They are not low cal.

Brisket in the slow cooker

Today is the last day to get fresh Atlantic Salmon at heb for $3.97 per lb. I love to bake mine at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. I put citrus seasoning and thyme on mine.
