Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Physically and mentally capable of performing process manufacturing, assembly, and packaging operations; secondary finishing and packing operations. Generally functions in the area of Filtration product assembly and filter element production. Must be able to operate metal cutting, welding, forming equipment. Instruct new employees in this classification. Know location of and how to operate fire fighting equipment.
Responsibilities: Quality and quantity of products. Personal safety and safety of persons in work area. Proper use of safety features on equipment and at work stations. Good housekeeping of work area. Cleanliness of equipment and finished product. Perform any other incidental work assigned by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Set up and maintain manufacturing machinery
2. Assemble components
3. Process paperwork and route packets.
4. Stand continuously 8. 0 hours a day.
5. Read job instructions and manufacturing orders.
6. Lift products from one place to another.
Equipment used to perform job:
Pallet jacks
Battery operated pallet jacks
Hand dollies
Carts
Various Hand Tools
Electric Hoist (pleating stations)
CRITICAL DEMANDS:
Pinch grip with light pressure.
Repetitive grasping of various size objects with weights up to 10 lbs.
Repetitive wrist movements bilaterally.
Sustained or repetitive reaching horizontally across a work surface beyond 12& quot; from the body and vertically up to full extension overhead.
Strength and endurance of hands and shoulders to apply moderate to heavy force (20 lbs. of force). Example: pull off caps from cylinders.
Lift 20 lb. from 36& quot; height, carry 10 ft. to surfaces from 4& quot; to 42& quot; (can use mechanical or two person assist for higher reaches).
Strength and endurance to maintain posture while reaching, bending, standing and walking.
Compensation:
$10. 00 / hr
