Event Information:
The 10th Annual Ice Cutter's Christmas!!

A Christmas Event Featuring Ice Sculptures, Lights and a Huge Snowball Battle

The 10th Annual Ice Cutter's Christmas will be held at the Fire and Ice Hall in Montgomery, Texas.

T. Jay Maclaskey, Houston's Premier Ice Artist and his wife Carol open their ranch each year for an old-fashioned Christmas Light and Ice Sculpture event which has been featured in "Country Living" magazine and chronicled by Charles Osgood on "CBS Sunday Morning". The Maclaskey ranch and the Fire and Ice Hall are set on 40 rolling acres with a huge 107-year-old barn which will be completely decked out for Christmas. The ice studio will be full of elaborate and elegant Christmas ice sculptures for you to see. There will be dozens of amazing, glistening sculptures created by Houston's only internationally award-winning ice sculptor! Ride the Jingle Bell Hayride through the woods and by the lake to see all the incredible light displays glowing in the dark. Walk through the "Enchanted Forest" and see where the elves live. Take the hayride through the Christmas light displays. Create your own glass Christmas ornaments, win prizes in the "Reindeer Games", decorate a HUGE gingerbread man. Share a story with the storyteller, sing karaoke Christmas Carols, visit the mini farm and see all of the sheep, goats, miniature horses, "wedding dress" geese, llamas and Pecos, our gentle long-horned steer. At 7:30 pm, Jay will carve something wonderful in ice in performance so you can see how it's done! At 8:30 pm, you'll find yourself screaming laughing and covered in snow as you participate in the Great Texas Snowball Battle. (be sure to bring your mittens!). End your evening with hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows and s'mores by the campfire.

If you have longed to recapture the "Christmas Spirit" that you felt long ago, this is the event for you. It's an old-fashioned, non-commercial, celebration of the season.

Come hungry! We will have homemade chili and turkey and sausage gumbo for dinner and hot chocolate, cookies, hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and all kinds of sweet treats available for snacks and gift-giving.

Admission is $5.00 per person. Children under 6 are free.
