Arson Fire at The Woodlands Tinseltown Movie Theatres
The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a fire at Tinseltown Theatres Sunday evening at around 7:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find a small fire in the boy’s bathroom. The fire did approximately $5,000 in damages to the bathroom. Montgomery County Fire Marshal Investigator Robert Carnes responded to investigate the cause of the fire and determined that the fire was intentionally set. While there are no suspects in this fire, it is most likely the work of juveniles or teenagers....

We have one more challenge facing us for our election this Saturday and it has to do with having enough election judges and election clerks to conduct the election. With 185 voting locations on Saturday, finding election workers has been an issue and growing concern for us as we have had a number of judges cancel at the last minute due to other commitments. We have chased every lead and contacted every source and are running out of options. We would prefer to find individuals that might have some experience with elections, but at this point it is not required as training is available....
